Favorite Workout Song?
Fight Song by Rachel Platten – I love this song because the lyrics speak to my personal journey and how far I still have to go. But I’m determined to fight for it!! I like any music that has a good beat and makes me want to move.
Biking, swimming, photography and cake decorating. I have completed one triathlon and have more scheduled to continue to push myself. Photography is a hobby that I enjoy with my husband and decorating cakes is something I’ve been doing with my mom since I was a little girl and hope to pass on to my daughters.
What makes you happy?
My family (hubby and four kids), anyplace where I can feel the sun on my skin!!
One word that describes you best?
My kids are my greatest adventure and I am proud to be their mom. I’m also very proud of my goals in fitness! To receive my CGFI (Certified Group Fitness Instructor) and work towards my Certified Personal Trainer is a huge accomplishment for me.
Why did you get into fitness?
I am here today to encourage others who have struggled on their journey to be their best. You can be the person you’ve always dreamed of being! Being active has brought a sense of peace, clarity and direction to my life. It keeps me humble and puts me in a place to encourage others on our individual, beautiful journey.
